   this number called my private line very late, almost 10pm but when answered they failed to speak, probably because I have strongly objected to unsolicited calls before this. I have joined the 'no unsolicited calls' group but they still get past that.

   Had 2 automated calls from this number trying to push PPI claims - if you call the number back it is not recognised so they are faking the CLI number.

   Pre recorded message re missold payment protection insurance. Standard woffle saying I could get up to £4000 in compensation. Press 2 to speak to an adviser,
   
   or alternatively save yourself money and put the phone down.
   The majority of people could deal with the banks etc themselves thus saving themselves the fees that these claim companies would charge.

   A pre recorded message offering solar panel and energy advice - on pressing "2" to speak to an adviser to ask them to remove me from their calling list , they hang up on you in mid sentence , but the calls continue.
