Lady with foreign accent asked me questions marriage status?, home owner,work status. when It was clear I wouldn't confirm my address she got short with me saying I will put you on repeat call back enjoy all your call backs

Been getting these calls about once a week for over eight years (always ask for Mr. McGuinness???). The 1471 to a fake number in Elgin is new though. I had it traced about five years ago (don't ask) and the call originated in Egypt. A professional scam company trying to get financial information from people. Calls stopped for over a year after I bought a referee's whistle but have recently started up again ( time to get the whistle out).

P.S. Asked where they were calling from one time and the reply was Manchester but when quizzed didn't know what a post code was. This shows that they are not in the U.K. as far as I'm concerned.

Another call from this fake number. Woman who gave her name as Alia from "Internet Savings" disconnected the call when challenged about the fake number that she was using.

This is a fake number -- it disconnects when you try to ring back. Man with an Indian accent asking questions for a survey. He refused to disclose where he had obtained my number (on the Telephone Preference Service), and, when pressed for details of what list they were using, just disconnected the call. Be very careful if you get a call from this number.
