I tell them to remove my number from their database, but they apppear to pass on the details to yet another load of tossers. -

Texts regarding debt with sky. Never had an account with sky. Sky confirms they have not got my details so this is just a scam. They should be prosecuted.

Bladdy foolishes man doing a calling to me about me must paying some monies. he talking too much in horrible voice that i no understand him too much, and he too much telling to me the lies that I am thief and owe money to Virgin media. I don't even have bladdy bladdy televison set, so why would I wanting a TV Media box or accountings. Bladdy bladdy scam if you asking me isnt it. B word punk. Lazy.

Two texts now from BPO ref a SSE account. I was with SSE a couple of years ago but never owed them any money.I am female and the second text was addressed to a man.I guess that contacting SSE won't help.I will block both the no's they used.

just annoying when they text you everytime about collecting your debt. they call me Miss robyn lear, not that i dont like being called a miss when my actual name is jason... but yeah i just called them and told them i was confused and that my name wasn't robyn. so they just said: oh its ok we will remove your number from the database... and thats it, wasn't a big deal, just pesky thats all

So I got a missed call & then a text from this number asking me to call them * gave me a reference number. I am currently working in a place with minimal phone reception but we have WIFI so decided to look them up. Entered the detail from the text and the message on their site stated that my account is no longer with them.
Seems rather dubious to me as I did the search within an hour of the text coming through. I think they are a fishing company, just contacting as many people as possible in the hopes that someone won't question them & just pay the money. -

I reportred this company to OFCOM online for harrassing me for a guy's debt, and it was sorted within 24hours.
Take a note of the names of the caller, the times, warn them that you will report them to OFCOM if you hear from them again. I also block calls by using Mr Number app. No problems! -

This company have rang me a couple of times over the last fews days, asking for someone I don't know. Various other debt collection companies have contacted us over the years for the same person. We have had this telephone number for over 10 years and it has even changed address with us. Once I explained this to BPO they said they can remove the number from their records but it will not stop over companies from contacting us about this (tps doesn't apply as it is not a sales or marketing call). He suggested I contact Equifax and ask for our addresses and phone number to be dissociated with the person we don't know. I intend to do this, fingers crossed it works!
Oh, and the man at BPO apologised too. -

Have called me a number of times and hadn't answered. Looked number up online. They have now sent me a text in my name claiming to be in relation to Virgin Media. I do not have an account with Virgin Media and have not had one in the last 7 years (Statute of Limitation barred if I had owed Virgin Money. I do have my mobile phone through Virgin Media but this is on my mother's account (and she never owes anyone any money) so no reason for them to need to contact me in relation to Virgin.
Was cancelling there services and stopped direct debit payments. I moved address 2 months ago and got the letter from bpo I wouldn't recommend any of the 2 company's.
