Wendon't operate a dialler or any automated system so if it's only rung a short number of times then we apologise - it may be that on our end it's rung 5 or 6 but your phone produces three longer rings. I am from the Republic of Ireland and have been rung on my mobile for the last 3 weeks, i just got a call this morning 'SUNDAY' at 12.02pm, i never answer it but i'm completely baffled how this company got my number, STOP RINGING ME ROB, not interested in anything your company have to say.

Three times within the hour.

Anonymous don't like people stealing data off those who can't defend themselves. Your company is now a target. I suggest you go bankrupt now, because when we are finished with you, you won't have a home or a wife! Very bad idea to try to defend cold calling and what is basically data protection fraud. People don't read terms and conditions because they are long and even if it was contained in this that the number would be sold for profit we feel this is the same as if you hadn't. We won't be using low level attacks like DDOS, those are only amataturs who think they are part of our collective!! We operate without anyone knowinh, if you hear about us in the news it's not us!! Be warned, we give you 48hrs to take a hammer to your database of numbers. After that you are on your own! Anyone who has a problem with these repeated calls, why not pop along and have a chat with Rob on his big day? Like he says, he's always up for a chat to "discuss the merits and downfalls of research". I'm guessing the merits are him getting paid for doing feck all, and the downfall is us getting hassled by his company.

I have spent all morning in a cancer unit. I have stressed over the appointment for a week and havent slept. Having a well earnt snooze this afternoon this number called my mobile first and then immediately my landline number. Both calls were answered and the line went dead. I thought it was an important call from the hospital trying to call me! You can bog off with your telemarketing or fancy name 'research'. If I am interested in a bloody product I'll buy it without someone trying to sell it to me!

caught this after 1 ring i said hello and it goes dead as if they put phone down, this has happend many times now and its always the same phone number that calls. just stop calling for gods sake

This caller woke me up as I work nights, only to hang up after a few rings.
If it is your company Rob Hogan, please don't try to justify your company. No company should be giving my number out to third party companies like yours should be prosecuted for harassing people with unwanted calls.
People simply don't want to be disturbed with nuisance calls.

I have done some simple research and the Managing Director is someone called Rob Hogan..... his mobile number is : 07760757590 ... please call him and leave a message, I'm sure he will be delighted with a call he doesnt want ! Exaclty like everyone else his company calls

I'm the MD that one person above is keen to tell everyone about. We identify our phone line (an 01422 number) and my mobile is also clear for all on our company website. I do this as we have nothing to hide.
We operate strictly by the Market Research Society guidelines. We do not call anyone outside the hours of 9.30am to 9pm Monday to Friday or during the day on a Saturday. We sometimes call on a Sunday between 10am and 5pm depending on work volumes.
We primarily operate customer satisfaction research whereby we are given a database of customers by the organisation the respondent is a customer of. We do also conduct research on general topics as well.
We've recently conducted a study with teenagers in Scotland for example on the topic of the referendum. We run public consultation research when things like wind farms are being proposed in local areas - now I'm sure you'd all like to ensure you have your say when it comes to things like this!
We are not marketers, we do not sell anything, we do not sell on any data.
Every product you use in your daily life, every service you use in your daily life have all been developed and improved through research.
As the first person kindly says, if you don't want to take part my interviewers will politely say thanks and end the call. That is all that is needed :)

Perhaps Rob, who is keen to stress the legality of his Companies operations should go back to the drawing board and start by reading the new laws which state Unsolicited Calls can be punished by a fine of up to £5000 PER CALL.
My advice - Take him to court ...I am just off to call my own solictor ...
