I was frantically trying to meet a deadline, and had left the room for a moment when this call came. By the time I got back it had stopped ringing. After I had caught the post I returned and looked up the number. I am grateful to Stitchy for information provided. The most likely reason for the call was to offer services. I shall wait with interest to see if more information appears on Tellows.

Received call from this number, which I declined to answer as number was unknown to me. Dialled number using 141 and discovered it belongs to Ruthbridge Ltd (a debt collection company). They appear to have offices throughout the UK.

Automated voice left voicemail. Saying, "This is a message for ****..... Silence.......**** please call Ruth Bridge Ltd on 02088142299 our offices are open fromm blah blah blah..( No idea who or what the calls about but ???? Checked the actual number the call was from and it was a different Ruth Bridge Ltd number 01519509509 (Liverpool code).. obviously Scammers....
