Howver a google search shows Melville consulting is a scam operator that lodges the appeal online, which anybody csn do, thrn charges £700 after which they do nothing. Same phone number also brlobgs to Webster and Long. Avoid.

Melville consultants visited my company saying they could appeal and reduce our business rates. The person who visited was Peter John. He said they could put in an appeal, no charge, but if appeal accepted then they would charge to complete the appeal and send in a surveyor. After researching it turns out anybody can put an appeal it takes a few minutes -the whole thing is a complete scam avoid at all costs.
Director of Melville consulting also director of Webster and Long and Harrison Berkeley also scam companies.
It is NOT no win no fee. Read para 3.1 of their conditions. "client shall pay the company standard charges and any additional sums.....
......in the company's sole discretion are required as a result of any cause attributable to the client.
Read it carefully, it says Melville can charge what it likes at its own discretion!
