   Received three calls in a space of 10 mins askingfor the contract holder. "There are security changes in your account." When I ask exactly what it consists of, they hang up.

   Interesting seeing it could be talk talk. Am with them for one landline, but not the other landline in home, which they keep calling! Strange when call them from the line we are with them, they dont bother picking up!!!

   We always let numbers like this go to answerphone. They always hang-up without a message. Calling several times a day at present - at least they don't hide the phone number.
   
   At least they could state their name and purpose, you say it is TalkTalk Marketing. I decide if I want to buy anything and try to avoid these types of call.

   yes this call is said to be from talktalk even though i implicitly stated i didnt want to recieve marketing calls from them or third parties .i still get these calls!! even though again i pointed out to talktalk that my numbers were registered on the tps service and had been for over a year or so .they just dont seem to get it ..

   As above this caller sounded Indian. Purpose of call was to offer me a new contract although I had already told a previous caller from this number that I was leaving talktalk. They are very persistent ion calling, but never leave a message saying who they are.

   Its talktalk, usually reported as a scam manchester call. They use overseas call centres to cut costs and hide the real number - india and south africa/america. These call centres call talktalk members in the uk for nothing more than surveys or to possibly upgrade, but you should never give any details out over the phone, especially if its about money. Simply hang up (if they dont do it first) or dont answer the call (if your phone shows you the number before you pick it up). Most of these call centres will have hundreds of young staff that simply do not care for the job (as you would expect from any call centre) - except that since they are handling overseas customers, they will care even less! :) avoid

   Caller identified herself as TalkTalk. Poor line and Indian accent sounded as overseas. Asked for personal details, when I queried this she hung up.
