What was that ! I have just had an idiot on the phone telling me that I don't know what I'm talking about! And that he is a very clever man. So clever that he is working in a call centre harassing people for ppi claim, someone did well at school !

They ring me 3 times a day. After reading comments here, I decided to say nothing when I pick the phone, took the caller a minute before terminating the call. I will certainly block them. I don't need the hassle or grieve dealing with idiots. This company should be reported.

Such a nuisence, its got to the stage where as i dont answer my phone, why should this be? Should be a law against intruding on ones privacy -

Very aggressive at trying to get me interested in mis-sold PPI claims. I asked them why on earth they felt the need to phone me on my work mobile and disrupt my working day - their response was "well you answered it", I said, "of course I answered it, who on earth do you think you are", their response "who do you think YOU are". The conversation went downhill from there.
Needless to say, number now blocked. I wish there was a way these companies could be penalised for harassment calls. -

This company rang me twice . Cold calling about miss-sold PPI insurance .Out of courtesy rang back and an operator called Stephen hung up twice . Save your time and money , block them out , they need to be shut down .

still phoning me up. i have problems remembering my own fone number, but Red Star number is now firmly cemented in my memory thanks to the frequency of their calls! I quote it regularly to all my friends, family, contacts, and generally everyone i meet in a relevant context. Suffice to say, as soon as they ring, i now immediately recognise the number and switch off the call. Anyone know how to block these calls?

the phone call they made to me ate up MY phone credit....so be warned they might be doing the same to other mobile pay-as-you-go phones. the bloke said he was wondering why i had a reason for not claiming the money i was still owed. What money? the fact that the call sucked up my remaining credit was ironically a good thing since it cut the little b***** off.

This company gets your number and repeatedly call you wanting to give a free boiler. Wont take our number of their database and when politely asked for their company address they hang up. AND their tel number is out of service yet its the correct tele number!!!!

Condescending to the point that I ended up losing my cool with him (I did try not to) basically pretend they know all about you, and say a vague, "so you had a credit agreement prior to 2009, which you didn't reclaim?" but they don't know jack, they fill in blanks as you answer yes or know, until they have enough info to try to sell to you. I HATE these scummy companies that call you without invitation the treat you like crap.

A guy ringing me from Manchester trying to make me do a PPI claim, very persistent to the point of rude. Felt like I was being forced into doing something even though I kept repeating I wasn't interested! (I'm a very patient person) I told him if you want to send me something in the post then do so but I'm not giving you any information unless you already have it. I asked several times where did you get my number and he kept redirecting the question and wouldn't answer. He was adamant I would never do a claim then when I said if I do it I'd do it myself and he said 'you sound like my girlfriend' this was when I ended the conversation because he wasn't understanding that I wasn't interested!!!!!! Very rude

Told me they were not Marketing. Straight into a Miss Sold PPI conversation. He said all the Major Banks had lied to their customers. Named one specific Bank. When he asked about me taking out Credit Cards/Loans, I hung up, surprisingly they had not barred their number.
