The person who called didn't state name of company. I avoided inquiring about the company and then asked the guy's view on bankruptcy. Usually they put the phone down on that. However that guy was smart (and rude) he asked if I ever have had ever been bankrupt and claimed he could help but he talked really fast non stop so I went straight to the point "look, you want my credit card details" he evaded my comment and quickly spoke trying to get me enticed by his fraud. I told him firmly I rather do not discuss business on the phone, nothing he said applied to me so he should therefore go onto another random number on his screen. The conversation ended there. So with this, it's best to be polite but firm.

Was very polite to the agressive man and in the nicest voice possible that "I have not had an injury and would he mind pi$$ing off please." said very nicely. I put the phone down whilst he was spluttering as he didn't know what to say.

This number called 5 times in the space of an hour! Each time I answered, as I run my own business and have no choice but to answer unknown calls. Each time they insisted that I had an outstanding PPI claim. What these Muppetts fail to realise is that they ARE breaking the law - Protection From Harrassment Act (1997). Once I mentioned this to the fifth caller the calls stopped and I've had none since. Claims Management is regulated by law in the UK, yet if people fail to report it then they will continue to trade. REPORT them as well as posting on here!

I can't understand why people get involved and get so wound up. When you've heard the first few words of their 'script' DON'T TALK TO THEM - JUST HANG UP.If you have a mobile or a land line with caller display don't even answer.

Called me today, first offering PPI, after I said that I never had any injury, they started to talk about banks charged me without properly informing me blah blah blah. Insisted on taking my details ONLY over the phone. Wouldn't go away after I repeated that I was not comfortable giving out my personal details in this manner. Very loud background noise, the person who was calling was screaming. Did not sound professional to me at all.

Trying to tell me I've taken out insurance through my bank and I was owed ppi. I never had and just wouldn't take no for an answer. Can't decide if they are either really stupid or just wake up every morning wanting to wind people up. Either way they are disgusting human beings and it's people like them who are guilty of defrauding vulnerable/elderly people. Word to the wise, don't call me by the wrong name and don't tell me I'm owed ppi on something I have never even taken out. Even going on to ask how did I know I didn't take it out and not taking no for an answer.

Got the usual 3-4 second delay cold calls start. Then just got a young girl's voice laughing and shouting "hallo?" sounded like she was with mates.
My diagnosis is a poorly paid staffer realising her cold-calling job is the pits and the company is a disgrace and decided this was her last day. -

Answered the telephone as I have family who live near Manchester. Wish I hadn't. Very pushy call by someone called Ryan regarding PPI claim. I told him I had already claimed and he said I could claim more - three or four times I told him I wasn't interested and asked to be removed from their call list. He just kept on so eventually I put the phone down. Have e-mailed and complained but don't hold out much hope having read the previous comments!

PPI SCAM - Called me 3 times in the last week, said i could reclaim PPI on a loan i took out, i asked them which loan, they said they couldn't say, and i told them "well if you don't tell me which loan it was for how can i reclaim it". They said they're not allowed to give out details, and wanted me to comfirm my name, date of birth and address.
Are they that stupid? Do they really think I'm going give out my details to someone who calls me up saying i can reclaim PPI on a loan i took out without even telling me anything about that load? -

I had a call from these lieing people this morning, being a person who works nights and needs to leave the phone on for emergency's I was not happy to hear what they were trying to sell, so i asked who do i bank with sir, he promptly replied err that would be Barclays bank i told him i did not bank wit them and he said we will just keep calling you. no worries there the call was recorded and the number added to an auto hangup app I have on my phone,
It would be better for every one else to just hang up the moment they say who they are and no not talk to them. -

The young girl would not take "no"for an answer. When I told her I'd never had loans she started harassing me about my mortgage! I kept telling her I wasn't interested but she kept on and on at me asking details of my mortgage. I had to put my phone down to get rid of her.Nasty people.
