First time I answered automated voice said press any key to be connected to an adviser- then they hung up! Rang them back Found out they are debt collection agency they asked for Mrs Adhele[sp] told them not lived at this address unless she was before 1948

Have been getting calls from this number for 2 weeks. First time I answered automated voice said press any key to be connected to an advisor- have not answered calls from this number since. Found out they are debt collection agency, I work for one of the big four high street banks and have no outstanding debts, furthermore, I have never had any debts. Don't know how this company got my number but I wish they would stop ringing me!!

Although my phone bill is with someone else, I have invested in the BT8500 Advanced Call Blocker phone. It does exactly what it says on the box, because unless you have programmed a number into the phone, no one gets through. There maybe a more advanced version out there, but for me this is the best investment I ever made. -

Annoying debt collection company who keep calling then hanging up when I say person they ask for is not on this number or at this address. Called more than 3 times one day so I threatened to report them for harrassment. They still call, never leave a message. You would think they would know who they are calling...

Have called a number of times and sent me texts which I took to be spam and deleted.
I picked up once and was asked if I was Mrs xxx, who I have never heard of. They said they would remove my number from their database. They called back for Mrs xxx a week or so later and said the same.
I called the number given in a text message to ask who they were, they said they couldn't say, they wouldn't even confirm the nature of their business (I guessed debt collection).
They said they would send me a letter and that they have my address right there alongside my number! I guess Mrs xxx will be getting a letter then.

multiple calls silent response from my end in case voice activated.........no response from their end.......then they hang up
I suggest this is a debt collection company checking to see if the phone number they have is valid.........so they can pester people even more. Avoid. Do not respond or talk to them.
If these people got a proper job that actually does some good instead of making poor people's lives a misery the world would be a better place. Scum. All of them.
