Totally useless company called the money group, they said they spoke to my husband last week, the only thing is my husband passed away 6 months ago and I have told these ignorant sods before and they said we will take your number of. When the guy said today he had spoken to my husband last week I asked him if he was psycic and he asked why and I said because thats the only way you could have spoken to him last week and low and behold the guy put the phone down. I have now reported this to the police as harrassment and also to ofcom, but I bet it wont make any difference.

These are a dodgy loan company! I applied for a loan before university in 2002 and they still pester me! They are mugs as well, the only thing they are good for is shouting abuse at. Me friend actually signed up and they took £80 from his account and then said he got declined for a loan! Disgusting!!

ex employee reported The Money Group with the number 01872277700 as Harassment calls
all of these calls from this number are from 'The Money Group' in Truro, Cornwall. I used to work for them but left co they are one of the most horrible companies I have ever worked for.. They are not a loan company; they are a debt management company. They buy the cheapest data and then call people on the assumption that MOST people have some sort of 'unsecured finance. That could be anything from credit cards, payday loans etc to store cards and even cancelled mobile phone contracts. The 'verifier' who you get the call from will ask you if you're 'struggling' to pay off debt, if yes, they will go through your list of debts with you and eventually transfer you to a 'financial advisor' who will then keep you on the phone for about 20 mins, eventually getting you to sign up to a personalized debt management plan.
When I worked there, probably about two thirds of the people i spoke to were sick to the back teeth of getting calls from us. But we couldn't see how many times someone had been called as we worked from an 'autodialler'... that is when you hang up the next record would automatically start dialling and a name pop up on the screen. We had a 'remove from database' option which i used all the time with harassed people, but i don't think it worked. The amount of abuse us callers got was phenomenal! (and not surprising). I would also try to calm people down and give them this website - stopcoldcallsnow.com - which gives some great free advice, particularly regarding calls about finance. The working environment was awful! They would have loud pop music playing all day thru speakers in the ceiling and on top of that, there were stupid football and dancing games which you were obliged to take part in if you sent a 'lead' downstairs - we you could win more points to be 'promoted' to the 'premiership' division - which esentially meant you just got to sit on the other side of the room with the particularly pushy idiots... and finally, the main reason i left?? when we spoke to someone who really did need our help but didn't have time to speak to the advisor; you would schedule them for a callback at a certain time etc, the callback would pop up at said time and so on... often when a 'hot lead' which you had scheduled popped up and you clicked on it, another box with a red cross would pop up stating 'This record has been removed from the project. See your supervisor'... We would ask our supervisor 'Where's all our hot leads going?' to which he would mumble 'Oh there's nothing i can do about that'... I figured out that some of the 'advisors' were hacking into the 'verifiers' accounts and stealing our good callbacks! So essentially stealing our potential commission, which is why the majority of verifiers never hit target, which was 7 per week to start getting commission... most people were on 2 or 3 a week. The place is a complete meatgrinder as well... always new training groups every week, with the head of recruitment bigging it up saying what a great place it is to work and how we really look after you...poppcock. probably 2 to 4 people getting sacked each week for not hitting target... or just walking out because they hated it so much. I was there for about 6 weeks and by the time i left, there were only 2 of us left out of my training group of 8! One got sacked for unexplained absence... The rest walked out!!! what's that tell you??? Anyway, there's some inside information about 'The Money Group' currently re- branding themselves as 'USAVE'. Remember that name...USAVE... it's still 'The Money Group'. and if you are being pestered by loads of calls (who isn't!) do check out stopcoldcallsnow.com. it is really helpful and free.
