concerned parent reported exemplar education/student support centre with the number 01902565630 as Telemarketer
had these people call from what they said was the 'STUDENT SUPPORT CENTRE' saying they had my details from a form my child brought back from school. Me being the curious and suspicious kind did a bit of research which the help of our little friend google and found they are very overpriced services relating to home help for children's maths & english.. a bit of a scam artist i think.
I kept getting calls from 01902565630 and spoke briefly to one of their callers to ring back at a more convenient time just so i could do a bit more research. They now started to ring back at really silly times and even on a sunday (today) and on a 'PRIVATE NUMBER'. As soon as the call began i informed her that i was recording the call to her dismay, laughed then asked why..
I told them straight i don't agree that they should have my personal details nor did i fill in a reply slip from my child's school so they are breaking the communications act and privacy & confidentiality laws. She said she will get her manager to call back to verify who they are. Done a search on the business register but no details. The first lady who rang said they were the 'student support centre' and now the most recent lady said, before she slipped up "we are the student support cen,,,,, oh i mean we are EXEMPLAR EDUCATION".. so already they have a business name change.. Very dubious.
