Female human voice but kept dropping out, realised that was a recording when an Indian male came on the line from "Proficient Helpline", He was calling about the accident (I haven't had). Got my number from the "Road Traffic Unit" apparently. "Road Traffic Unit of who?" said I. "Have a nice day" says he and ends the call. Ambulance Chasing Number Harvesters. Number now blocked and am now reporting to the ICO since they've obviously got their calls re-routed through a Milton Keynes number.

I receive a call approximately every two weeks of this "company". That I had a car accident and someone referred it to them (I didn't understand who). After I ask a women to tell me my name she cheekily hangs up. I've told them many times not to enjoy me any more. It drives me crazy these people. If I had any chance I would officially refer it just don't know where :-(

Emma from Proficient Solutions called about an accident I'd been involved in. I told them I'd report them to theTtelephone Preference Service for cold calling. She put me through to a male supervisor. I told him he same thing and he hung up.

i asked the name twice and asked copmany name and why she was calling twice. Answered with 'proficient help line', she asked 'when was the accident' twice, when I asked 'what accident she said 'yes, the car accident' -

Sounds like a real voice but it's not. Have you been in an accident that's not your fault? If you say the word yes anywhere you get transferred to the 'supervisor'. The real voice. I asked for the company name and he hung up. These calls drive me insane.

Cold call from 01908978792 (Milton Keynes). A woman telling me, "I believe you've had a motor accident which wasn't your fault recently" ... I replied with "Yes, that's right. Please hold the line ...." It took her 40 seconds to realise I wasn't coming back and she ended the call :-)

Called twice in the last 30 mins - number hidden 2nd time which got past the block I had applied.
Same both times though - automated call/recording from 'Emma' about a supposed car accident. Left my phone on mute until they hung up the call. Complete scumbags -

The usual thing. Calling about an accident I didn't have. When I asked them to repeat the company name they obviously knew I was going to report them to the TPS because instead of confirming the company name she just talked over me and said that she'd remove me from the database I shouldn't have been on in the first place. Reporting to TPS so I hope they enjoy the fine.

Considering I don't drive I must be clever to have been involved in a road traffic accident!! Bloody morons with nothing better to do. Simply block their number as I under no illusion that they have removed my number from their databse.

I've had multiple calls from this number on my new UK mobile. They alway ask me had I been involved in a car accident - a womans voice with some delay in between question and answer. I've asked multiple times for my number to be removed, however, they continue to call! Next time I plan to play dumb and find out more about what they are really after.

Claimed I was In a car crash and refused to tell me where she got my number from, I asked 3 times, first she tried ignoring me and continued talking, the second time she tried to change the subject and the third time she hung up.

I answered the call as a unknown Number to be greeted by a young lady,who asked about a Car Accident I was supposed to have been involved in.
I answered honestly that I do not drive - At which point I heard a Ringing Tone as it transferred to a Data Server...
There is NO ACTUAL HUMAN on teh line - This is a PURE ROBOTIC CALL!

Called me about a recent car accident I had been in where I was not to blame. Unlike above accounts there definitely was a person on the other end - A pushy and falsely reassuring Asian man told me he was acting on behalf of some government agencies, traffic controllers and other nonsense which sounded genuine for a minute or two. Took my details which unfortunately I provided (force of habit given these details had been given several times to insurance, car repairs, hire car companies etc since the incident). However my suspicion was fully aroused when he desperately urged my to click on a link to an email he'd sent to my account to give permission to send me "legal papers". He was not happy when I told him I'd read the documentation and get back to him. So I hung up and did my research and voila! They are indeed a bogus pile of crap. I have since blocked the number. Will be informing my insurance company of this and why such scams are getting through to me and reporting to the ombudsman.
