I am having calls from this number a few times a day now for the last week. looking at the above reviews I would be worried that they are asking for consumer usages and other utilities at the house. why would they need this without giving info about them??? the run up to a scam maybe?? If I do get to speak them (I work full time) then I will be pushing to find out about them first and will look at complaining to Ofcom...

Calling me at least twice day-I haven't answered any of their calls- where did they even get my number from? How can I block them?

I recieved a call from these muppets today and this number will be added to the blacklist like so many others ;) using call control myself and works very wellWhatAJoke replied 2/4/15, 4:01 PMadded to blocklist but after that you was called by the same people on a spoofed number u guess.
point is they even know when they have been blocked.

asked for me by my first name & said he wanted to conduct a lifestyle survey. I said I wasn't interested and he said that was fine and terminated the call - not pushy or aggressive but I'm still not sure I wanted to give them any of the info they wanted

Also really concerned how knew my name.g50p replied 12/18/14, 6:42 PMIt appears they are a company called Census Data Ltd - from what little info I have, they are calling from an 0191 which is Tyneside in the north, but the company is based in a Bristol Office. It's a new company (been around a year) based in Bristol that they say they're a Marketing / Survey company. There are a handful of similar companies at the address - google maps looks like a residential street. Their telephone provider is Magrathea Telecom - who I'd suggest you complain to about nuisance calls. -

been receiving calls to my mobile daily for almost a fortnight. Keep missing the call's as I work full time. They do seem keen to get hold of me as they are trying at different times each day. Any professional caller would have left a message and they haven't so I wont be calling them back

Called work mobile, knew my name, asking survey type questions and for personal information. Became agitated when I asked for details of the company and how they had obtained my name and number. Did offer to remove my contact details from company database, was not helpful about how I could file a complaint.

Phoned me at home and asked to speak to the homeowner (used his actual name rather than literally asking to speak to the homeowner). As that's not me (I rent) I said they didn't stay here and the caller immediately hung up.
Obviously that shows this is an unprofessional company but the worrying part is how he got the name of my landlord. -
