Caller purported as acting as 3rd party for a Finance Company which I have just used (so far so good). Wasn't happy when started to ask for relatively minor details (address/post code) so caller advised not prepared to discuss further. Not content with my perspective of "This is unsolicited, from a number I don't recognise, and you've advised you are as acting as a 3rd party" tried to push on. Eventually reached conclusion that she will report back to finance company which I am more than content with. I'm not saying it is a fraudulent approach, but they msut recognise that these are exactly the tactics a fraud attempt would utilise. From previous comments though, I suspect a hard sell on GAP insurance has just been avoided.... for now.

Same as above, phone call trying to offer GAP insurance, not really aggressive but starting to get quite pushy until I said my husband worked in insurance and I would double check with him and maybe ring back...... I won't be ringing back!
