A caller from this number called early evening today. I screen my calls no one spoke to leave a message that would give an indication for the reason they called. I have blocked this number as I am sure a genuine caller would have left a message of some sort.

0195478845 just called me. Nearly got caught as I had just been talking to an Indian call center regarding a new Dell which had developed a fault and was expecting a return call. Coincidence or what!!

an asian/indian lady called today proporting to be from Microsoft and saying as i had a problem with my computer and i needed to give them access so that they could fix it,Also she said that they had my microsoft licence number,i just strung her along and she stated that she was obligated to inform me.after getting nowhere with me as this has happened to me before she ended the call.Please do not get take in by this.

I have just had numerous calls from 0195478845 claiming that they were Microsoft a credited company and that there is a problem with my computer, they wanted me to go on-line to show me the faults. I have terminated the calls about a dozen times, I have just looked up this number on Google and it appears they are a bogus company

i let this clown dig himself deeper for about ten minutes, he kept asking what was on my p.c. screen (p.c. wasnt even on) i explained, that there was some wording i did not understand, he asked me to read it back to him. "F**K OFF" Took him a few seconds before it sank in and he got the message. Absolute muppets these people are, just hope no one falls for their scam

I to like the other comments received a call pertaining to be from Microsoft. I allowed them to get their spiel off their chest, then i informed them that i was an IT professional and they were indeed lying, to which they assured me they were not. After abut 10 mins i got annoyed and told them to "go forth and multiply" and hung up. To which they proceeded to call me 5 more times one after the other. If this is not harassment then i dont know what is.

I kept this particular liar on for as long as I could stating that he was a liar and was lying to me... tried to lie that he wasn't.

Had several calls today from this number, claiming to be working on behalf of Microsoft, telling to turn my computer on as they have 1,000s of errors and warnings reported and they will talk me through how to deal with the problems.
In total I kept them talking for 30 mins+, refused to turn on my computer and refused to tell them why I wouldn't do so. Eventually they hung up after telling me they were terminating my Windows Licence and that in 24 hrs my computer would no longer work.
I hope they get shut down as this kind of call can be very worryiing for some people. -

Received a call today asking me to turn on my computer as reported as faulty. Informed foreign caller that I was going to contact the police and promptly hung up. Reported to 101 who asked me to report to fraud team. After waiting more than 10 minutes for them to answer, I gave up!!!

Scammer trying to get access to my computer. told them if they could see that I had problems thenc they should already know about my computer. had repeat calls from supposed line managers. Quite funny really but might fool older less savvy people.

0195478845 rang 18.05.2016 at 15.52 Computer issue and going to help me fix it, advised the foreign gentleman that his help would be greatly appreciated and I would just grab a pen to take some notes, managed to keep him dangling on phone for 7 minutes before he swore repeatedly and hung up !!
Customer service skills require vast improvement . . . . I suggest a copious amount of lead to the backs of their heads in a circular swinging motion !!

Tried to call my aged mum - don't know if they target elderly. I have contracted to Symantec as a security specialist and can say with certainty that Microsoft has never contacted consumers directly by phone, as all contact has been done digitally for over 20 years so why waste money on a call? Please tell all you know - it is NEVER 'Microsoft calling' - is ALWAYS fraudster!

PLEASE be ware! This person called me claiming to be from Microsoft, and told me my computer was sending error messages. I told him I was fed up with callers like him and that my computer was up to date with all software etc. He started to get nasty saying he was going to terminate my Microsoft account in 30minutes. I told him I was reporting his number to the police! He hung up ! RESULT :-). Glad I checked this number out online and found these comments . Luckily I am computer savvy ;but worry about other unsuspecting folk out there. Hence my reason for writing this.

Told me that he was from Microsoft and that I had a huge number of viruses on my computer that he could sort for me if I followed his instructions. Offered to give me he ID number of my computer, but when challenged, couldn't tell me what make or model of computer I had. Told him I knew it was a scam and he hung up. Worried that a less aware person may be tricked into doing this!

An 'off-shore' caller phoned me today from 01954 78845 claiming to be from Microsoft and advising that they'd received urgent notification regarding a virus on our PC. I explained that we used Apple, not Microsoft. I also asked where she got our number from as we are supposedly on the Telephone Preference Service. She then referred to me by my actual name (which I had not given) which was worrying. I explained again that we don't have PCs, only Macs - and not to call us again. Annoyed that someone else may be taken in by what I suspect is a major scam - and also annoyed that they've got my name and phone number from somewhere (landline which we don't really even use anymore and certainly don't give out as a contact number!)
