Mrs Weedon reported unknown with the number +441999 as Cost trap
Female voice claiming to be from "bank credit security". Told me £600 had been transferred from my account. Asked me to press 1. I did. Transferred to male voice. He then asked me to hold on while he transferred me to someone who could help me. Female voice asked how she could help me. I said "I don't know". She said "Is it about £600 transferred from your account?. Have you made such a transaction? We can stop it going through." She asked if I do internet banking. I said "Yes. Last time was about 4 months ago." She asked if I have a mobile phone or iPad. I said "No". She then kept asking me to switch on my computer. I refused. Eventually I hung up. This is the second call I have had regarding the alleged £600 transfer, but yesterday's was a different number! We have blocked both numbers.
