Man with a strong Asian accent claimed to be from BT Openreach and as there was a problem with my internet connection they have called me. Weird though as I barely had a chance to reply to his introduction spiel and he said "hahaha" and hung up.

I have seen comments on this number on another site but being not a member U could not post
They are an adjectivally infernal nuisance and the reason they cannot get to speaking is that they are ignorant of how to call a person who has a text phone - any one I permit to call me KNOWS the drill
As a deaf (disability) person I have to have a loud ringing phone this must annoy my neighbours - we do not always think of SELF you know. It has been pointed out on another forum 1 as a scam and 2 as Criminal I wish I knew how to find out

Have received a few calls from this number, if I leave for the answerphone it hangs up very quickly and the few times I have picked it up without checking the number just silence at the other end.

I have just been called by this number by a man with an Asian accent. He told me he was from Talk Talk and that someone had hacked into my broadband, then he said that my computer was causing a problem with the broadband. He got me to log into a website which allows them to access your PC.It came up with an ID No and password which I wouldn't give him after which he got annoyed. He quoted my Talk Talk account number and everything.

My partner received a call from this number who said they were from Microsoft and there is a problem with our computer which needs fixing, would she log on. She replied no as this is obviously a scam and did they think she was stupid. She was then subject to a tirade of abuse saying we are all f***ing stupid etc. This was a very distressing call for anyone to receive never mind a vulnerable or elderly person who could be intimidated into following their instructions.. These people need stopping . This has been reported to the police and phone supplier.

Claimed to be from microsoft and informed me if I didn't follow his instructions I would be disconnected from the server 'microsoft windows' (I use a Mac and was working offline). I informed him I had several missed calls from his number but apparently my computer was still fine (shocking!). He told me I HAD to listen or I would be "put on the criminal record of the FBI" (this is laughable). At which point I hung up... he immediately rang back, asked why I had hung up and I told him I would do so again - at which point he told me he would ring 500 times in the next 5 minutes. So I told him I would block his number "No!!! You have to do this... have to..." Click. Number blocked. Done. I appear to still have internet access ;-) What a scam.

He called from Microsoft claiming that I had computer error messages that was causing problems. (I got 2 degrees in computing so I thought I would carry on with it). He said he needs to take access for my computer. I said "Do you need my Credit Card Number". He said "No you need a hole" I said "Hole?" He said "Yes for down the road where a girl gives you good BJ" some other dirty language was said and I said at this point "Are you sure you work for Microsoft" and he said "Sure! F**K OFF WH**RE". And then put the phone down.

This number called whilst we were out and again 2 days later. It then appeared again on our list showing as an international number ie with 044 in front. We were not available for any of these calls. But have read all the above comments and will not answer if this number calls again. Thanks.

Called last night, no message left on answer m/c.
Same number called today 5 times 2 silent calls, 1 asking for gas and electric bill payer, 1 about a vacuum cleaner and 1 about computer.
Five calls in 6 hours.

I was called by 02031577156 today by a chap calling himself Alli? saying he was a technician from Microsoft, when I said to him, I don't think you are, he got very abusive and called m e a b.......y b..ch among other things. I have had these calls before & asked them not to call me, they should be stopped

Called pretending to be from BT broadband about an awful virus on my computer about to bring the whole BT network to a grinding halt. Wanted me to give him remote access to computer and hub. BT don't want to know, only thing to do really is to block the number to save any kids or elderly relatives being duped.

Told me recieving messages indicating my "Microsoft" computer was infected with virus. When I asked who my internet provider was, they hung up - surprise! Had intended to keep them as many awkward questions as poss, before accusing them of lying. Have complained previously to BT, who only want to charge me to put a block on nuisance calls!

My elderly mother received a call yesterday evening. Caller (foreign sounding)knew her name and address & said he was coming round.

CRIMINALS Claiming to be calling from Microsoft,
and attempting to hack into my computer,
Have received this type of call many times from International numbers. First time from UK number. These people need to be investigated now we can trace them to the UK
