complete scam. Said I'd agreed to donate £150 for local school books in September over a phone call. When I pressed her on whether they were a charity or not she said "10% goes to a local charity", then I asked for more details and she hung up.
Sickening that businesses exist to profit illegally from charitable donations. -

Received a call from Amy on this number saying they had spoken to me in September and the company had agreed to sponsor 32 Safety Awareness Books for local schools. The books were being sent out and we would shortly be getting our invoice for £189 but would get a £20 discount if we paid today by debit card.
Whilst the cause seems worthy I did not agree to this in September and have no recollection of ever having spoken with them so I said we would not be participating or paying as I was uncomfortable with their business approach.
Amy was professional and responded that as all calls were recorded she would check the voice recordings from September.
This may well be an attempted scam to get money from local businesses.

Woman called me on my mobile number (which I'd don't readily give out), and said they had my books all packed & ready to be send to my nominated Primary school. I said I didn't know what she was talking about and she claimed I spoke to them in August and agreed to sponsorship... that was enough for me to be 100% certain it was a scam. Avoid.
