Received call from this number 3 times in a week. Female with accent. First call said was from BT. Two days ago, said was from Virgin Media and there was illegal activity on my internet. Today, called at 08:15 and said she was from Virgin Media and there was a problem with my broadband router. Asked me to go and check if the blue lights were flashing. I put the phone down.

An Indian woman called my mum's partner saying she was from carphone warehouse and he immediately hung up. The next day I had a call on my mobile same woman and I told her to stop harassing us and she hung up. Had a call on home phone again later that day, an Indian man who I could not understand. I asked who he was calling on behalf and he told me to 'f off' twice so I hung up and reported the number immediately online. Please never give any details out to anyone over the phone!

BEWARE. SPAM call pretending to be from Vergin media. I been getting lots of calls from Indian accent. They try to sell mobile contract before now saying there is an error on my wifi & they needs to fix it. When I asked where he is calling from he gave me a random 123 number and then I asked for vergin media call centre address. He gave me BT address. When I typed it in Google I knew it is a spam call. I said why are you scamming people. He laughed and said it is our passion and hang up. If you search on google you may see so many people reported about calls claiming they are calling from Vergin media but giving BT address in London. Also we got spam once from someone stating they are calling from Car phone where house. they got our bank details & we went through several months of agony after there were many issues. So it is very unpleasant experience. I don't want others to suffer like that. BE AWARE.
