Avoid this number - definitely a scam!!! Indian sounding guy who said he was calling from "Windows Technical Department" as apparently I had downloaded viruses to my hard drive, wanted to talk me through how to fix it. I was very reluctant to switch on my computer and my son took the phone, told him we had changed internet providers and we had been away on holiday for three weeks and no-one had used the internet. The indian guy immediately put the phone down on my son. Avoid this number!!!!!

Linux guy reported Prentending to be Microsoft with the number +442300560352 as Cost trap
I got a call from this number today and it's *DEFINITELY* a scam that's cynically intended to mess up your PC and then charge you on your credit card to fix a problem which didn't exist in the first place. So, be on your guard and don't fall for their tricks. An Indian-sounding guy spoke to me, who claimed to be calling from Microsoft. He claimed that he was calling because I had "junk files" and "viruses" on my PC and he was going to help me fix it. Needless to say this was all a big lie! I immediately knew the guy was a crook, trying to trick me, because I don't use Windows. In any case, Microsoft would *NEVER* phone you about such things.
