Ethel-the-aardvark reported Windows Technical Department with the number +442305412210 as Cost trap
An Indian-sounding man called Brian, who when asked said he was calling me from Reading, UK. I acted dumb, and he wanted me to download the remote desktop application from www.anydesk.com. He said he was from a company called "Windows Technical Dept" and when I asked him, he said that Microsoft had asked BT for my number as there is a problem with my computer. When I said I haven't registered my phone number with BT, he said he would show me the problem on my computer only if I carried out his request. After I suggested he was a scammer, he ended up calling me several rude things, and also accused me of wasting his time. He also said he was having the last laugh as I was paying for the call. After over 9 minutes of stringing him along, I put the phone down. (I was not being charged for the call.)
