    Claimed to be paid by Microsoft, insisted I switch on my computer which supposedly had a virus. Resisted and argued when challenged, became abusive and continued to try to persuade me (but failed). Threatened to block my connection. I told him where to go and hung up. He called back three times in a different voice and got told again where to go! One of many scammers trying the same old gag. Never, never, never touch your computer when requested over the phone. If you have a problem take it to your local repair shop.

    Oftel records show that numbers starting 028 1342 0xxx are free, and available for allocation. Therefore these callers are "spoofing" their number and are up to no good!
