Fraudsters claiming to be from Inland Revenue, calling about your unpaid ta and threatening to issue a warrant if you don't payup immediately, this isn't how they work,
If you owe tax to the Inland Revenue they send you a letter offering to arrange repayment, if you don't pay they send you another letter to remind you, if you still don't pay they send you a final demand letter, if you still don't pay they issue a CJD against you and send the Court Bailiffs to collect the money.
The only time an arrest warrant will be issued against you for not paying your tax, is if you are suspected of or guilty of tax fraud, you definitely don't get a phone call to warning they have issued a warrant
