English male knew my name. Claimed that he understood I had had government sponsored fibreglass loft insulation put in several years ago and wanted me to know that it was considered dangerous. To me, fibreglass is fibreglass and I cannot see the government allowing illegal or dangerous fibreglass to be installed in millions of homes without approaching us first, probably initially by letter. I consider this to be a likely scam whereby the male passes details to a loft insulation company who will charge a fortune to remove the perfectly decent existing insulation and add in their own product. Proceed with caution. Tell the caller you are not interested and will be reporting his call and the number he is calling from.
