   Keep calling and hang up when I answer. I have even had these loons claiming to work for Microsoft on my landline, as I work in tech support I can run rings round them, but we get a lot of calls at work from elderly folks who have been scammed and had a virus put on their machine. Why are these idiots allowed to get away with this stuff?

   I asked for him to remove me from the calling list and he said can't. I asked again he just stayed on the line. These calls are very stressful and feel like harassment.

   Had a call today at 12.31 from this number, with a particularly nasty scam. He told me his name was "Peter" (though his accent was asian) and that he was from the "computer licensing department". He informed me that my computer has been running from two IP addresses and that it would be shut down if I didn't act. I realised this was a scam and pressed him for details - asking him: Computer licensing Department of what? His answers were vague but his final bid was words to the effect of this: Do you want to keep your computer or do you want to lose it - which hits hard at an emotional level and the threat could have been persuasive with someone more susceptible.

   Called yesterday saying we had a problem with our Windows 10 PC... as I am in IT kept him going for about 35 minutes pretending to be dumb computer user.. before telling him we only had a Mac and he didn't know what he was talking about.. he swore and hung up.. he has called 4 times since and just hangs up when I answer...

   Guy rung up my wife saying he need to talk to Mr Myname, when questioned he was rather rude and insistent he needed to talk to the homeowner regarding the PC's and Laptops, he was told to go forth and multiply in no uncertain terms.
   
   Wish I'd ansewed this call, as I work in systems and know a little around IT, so it would have been good to get a little back story as to how this scam works.

    Male, didn't give name just company called me this morning to say my computer license would run out tomorrow unless I renewed it. I hung up and did 1471 to r8ng straight back - number doesn't acceptake calls. Do not give any details or pay Money this is a scaman.

    Just had a call from this number - some rude Asian man from a call centre said that the computer registered at my IP address would be shut down as from tomorrow. Put the phone down on him - this is a scam. Had a couple of spoof emails in the last 2 weeks saying that I had donated to Migrant Helpline and wanting me to click on a link which I did not. email contained my home phone number so I have been waiting for calls like this. These are evil people who need to be stopped.
