   Got a call from this number after calling RAC 5 times to cancel breakdown renewal, the automated system said to call back as they were so busy. I got the person to repeat who they were but couldn't understand a word as the line was bad. They said I had called them on this number. I had only called RAC on their main number. It seemed fishy so denied calling them and hung up.

   Calls me late afternoon twice a week at least 6 times since I refused to new my motorbike breakdown cover. Always same bloke
   The reason I didn't renew is that their app is buggy, map function on app has broken links, took them 20min to answer any breakdown calls and they told me they would take at least 5 hours to pick up my bike.

   It's the RAC, but, because their obsessive persuit to obtain my updated payment details (after cancelling) became borderline harassment, I went with Green Flag.
   It turned out to be a better deal too...
   No reputable company should be adopting these hard sell techniques - using a third party agency to do the dirty work is no excuse.

   This is the RAC - called me as they wanted to discuss renewing my policy which was expiring in 5 days time. I had already advised them that I was not going to renew earlier (which was verified by one of their people via email), so the fact they called at a later point shows that they didn't want to take no for an answer. You can safely assume that this number is from their marketing dept.

   Don't believe the knob jokeys trying to pursuade you it's the R.A.C in the comments above, they're obviously part of the scamming team that's ringing round trying to get money out of ppl, if you want breakdown cover from them go on their official website to get the real number or do it online, never give any details over the phone to a "cold call". Scum of the earth these ppl.

   Persistent phone calls. Don't reply often when you pick up.Spoke to someone claiming to be from the RAC, but felt hassled. Joined the AA as a result!

   Received txt msgs and missed calls from here on mobile. Don't know if it's really the RAC or not. Never had any contact with RAC and this is new phone number so don't know how they got the number.

    I dont own a car , never been a member and ignored me to be removed from list.

    I had called the 033.... number to update my payment details, and they were unco operative so i cancelled the membership only to be called and called again by an operator for the rac on this number who wouldnt let the matter drop.

    Said they were RAC and wanted my bank details for renewal... I said I’d call back directly to give them. And it was a lie! RAC said they hadn’t called me and I wasn’t due for renewal for months!

    This appears to be a scam, I only answered as I thought it was my physiotherapist calling. When you call it back you get a pre-recorded message saying your vehicle breakdown company is trying to call you and not to worry, they will call back later. However if it was RAC, would they not just say they are RAC and would they not connect you to their main customer service and not just a recording that does not allow you to speak to anyone. Lastly, I don't have RAC breakdown so why would they suddenly be calling. I would be weary of the others saying it is RAC.
