This lady calls up,middle aged probably(English)and started to speak in such a nice warm way telling me about the way their company gives massive discounts on purchases.She knew my name and address - apparently,I remember entering for a competition, discount or for vouchers sometime ago - Can't remember precisely which.But this was how they got my details!!! I can't believe how fraudulent some people/companies are - "also" in this part of the world. Please be careful and do not enter for dodgy competitions,or discounts etc on-line. This is a way to scam you in a conventional way.As someone said in the thread, they collect your bank details,and nick a small amount of money(£1)which is rarely noticeable.If they do that a million people-that is a huge amount of money.BEWARE - SAY NO & THIS MUST STOP IN THE UK....

I had a call from this number, I never answer numbers I don't know so came on here to look it up. I will block the number. I can't believe anyone would actually be silly enough to give their bank details to anyone on the phone, I guess the scam must work though as they wouldn't keep trying otherwise.

As with other comments here I received a call from 01753441520 purporting to be able to save me lots of money by passing on trade savings and my paying cost price for holidays, clothes etc etc. Very nice lady claims to work alongside Groupon. I did confirm my updated address but then had to politely decline twice when she asked for me to provide my bank details so that she could "just validate" my details. As I refused a second time she politely ended the call. I've now blocked the number as I see this has called me a few times before I took the call...

Lady called asked where I buy my clothes, household items etc and said she could save me 50% when I buy everything in the sales and also car insurance, Utter rubbish, she cut me off when I repeatedly told her she could not beat any price I paid and did not ask for my bank details.

Got call telling me I had taken shopping survey some time in the past & now going to save me money. Said I was TPS registered & then she argued that may be the case but I MUST have done a survey because they had my number. Asked her politely to remove my number but was IMPOLITELY hung up on.

First call from this no. Lots of background noise so you barely hear what the woman is saying. Seems to offer membership of wholesale buying club, presumably online. Trial membership £1 for first month. Didn't get as far as being asked for bank details. As usual with these calls, I was called by my married name, which I very seldom use. Quite possibly a scam. I guess once you sign up and have given your bank details they will take regular amounts whether or not you use the "Club". Not really interested in finding out.

Has rang me constantly, annoying ,harassed me for weeks! DO NOT GIVE YOUR PERSONAL DETAILS, always the same woman put on different accents! Fake noise playing in the back ground! Iv tryed to trace the number comes bk to slough! No company name! What company dose not register there phone number! If you try to ring back the line dies! Do not do not acknowledge the information thay have for you!

I have recieved numerous calls from this number who have changed there name several times over the past month I have done a fair share of research on this number and it belongs to a bunch of fraudsters who claim they can help when in fact they just take little bits of untraceable money from your account that u don't actually notice as they are such small amounts be warned this is a very dodgy company and have so far conned people out of at 3 million to date and still rising....

Called suggesting they could save me lots of money and knew a lot of my info ie name, address and email.
Then asked for my bank details, I told them I dont give this over the phone and they kept asking me for it syaing they couldnt send me the welcome pack and start saving me money until i did. I'm not that daft :-{

Rang up by this woman, waffled about trade prices vs retail prices....wanted to send me info but had wrong address, I didn't give her my new one, then she wanted to know who I banked with. She got very shirty and hung up on me.

Just been called today at 10:22, the other end hung up. I called back the number and the message said that this number was not recognised th4n the line went dead...very strange!!! Obviously the phone providers must know who they are allocating the to should be able to do something about this annoyance

I treat all unsolicited and unknown number calls the same. I press "answer" on my phone, then put my handset aside without verbally acknowledging the calls, waiting for the caller to get tired of not getting a response and then they hang up. It normally takes less than 15 seconds, but today's caller was a bit slow on the uptake and hung up at the 52 second mark.
