Unsolicited call at 1825 claimed that she was from motion.however after advising her that my number is registered with TPS she claimed that they couldn’t do anything as this wasn’t a marketing call. And I hung up. During the cal I asked for a contact number which she said was 01315614532 but my caller display was showing 01315060992? My number is also ex directory both numbers now blocked definitely a scam.

Although I’ve had this number blocked for over a month now due to their persistent calling, I can still see every time they do call. They are ridiculously persistent with calling most days, but calling at 9pm on a bank holiday Monday weekend is just absolutely ridiculous!!!! I wish they’d just get the hint and GO AWAY!!

I was sent a letter to take a Covid test, the letter said the test was for one thing however when it arrived it said it was for another thing. i filled in the questionnaire as asked and told them i wouldn't take this as it was asked on false information and i was worried the data would be skewed. I got a random call this morning saying did i do the test, i explained no and the reason why. The Scottish lady then said "oh" swearing under her breath and hung up on me. avoid them, they are trying to falsify information for Covid surveys it would seem

called claiming to be the local council looking to learn more about local issues. Dude would not even specify which council he was calling from. Clearly, a scam trying to harvest data etc to sell. Verified the number to be from Ipsos Mori but called when identifying himself said was from local council. Clearly total nonsense

Claimed to be Ipsos Mori doing survey about living near an airport during Covid. I said I didn't live near an airport. He asked did I ever see airplanes in the sky? Yes. 'Then you are under a flight path'. I said no we are not, and he said 'if you can see planes you are under a flight path'. I was not going to argue with a time-waster as to whether seeing a distant spec in the sky 'over there' = under a flight path, so put the phone down and have blocked the caller. Registered with TPS, don't want these calls.

I have received several calls from this number over the past week, all at different times of the day and evening. Whilst the number may belong to Ipsos Mori, it is not difficult for somebody to spoof their outgoing caller id (i.e. using a VOIP system). Given I have never had any communication from them before, and have never been asked to participate in any Government surveys; I believe this is a scam.
Scammers did the same thing with one of HMRC’s numbers last year. -

Called saying number was randomuly generated and they had no details on me. I said you should check numbers against the TPS before calling.
She said they dont need to as its not marketing call, its market research (so basically "are you interested in X or Y. Yes you are, thats great. our partners may try to call you to help you out with that."
So basically they are calling people on TPS asking about "market research" to get around the TPS. -

Claimed to be working on behalf of the department of education, wanting to know about our care company. Googled the number and I see they are claiming to be ' bank, royal mail, and evrything in between'. Called off, won't answer again.

Keep getting calls from this number but will not answer as I am ex-dir, and on checking, Ipsos Mori have been retained by Government to check out businesses about cyber security. Always calls in late evening.
As an OAP, I don't have a business!
