The owner of the website and the man behind the scam was struck off as a solicitor in 2004. His appeal against suspension was refused and he was ordered to pay costs of £1477.

No different than the PPI cold callers. Rang me yesterday and again today, revealedin the course of conversation that he was based in Derby. The conversation also revealed that they have at least seven firms of solicitors to refer cases to and that he expected the solicitors to take about 20% from any successful claim. He denied any knowledge of the other five calls that I have received in preceeding months and in which I asked to be removed from their data base. When I subsequently told him I had run a government advice line for many years which gave free advice on such subjects he told me the government did nothing to help the people they were helping. At this I terminated the call. The number the caller used was 07860814365

Cold called me said they were the Hearing Clinic in Derby asked if l worked in a noisy industry
took my details Rang back to book a home hearing test. Next day rang again to book hearing Test with no record of me
By now l am suspicious l rang them and asked them to bring up my details on their computer but couldn't do that because they were using the phone.
I rang again and asked them where they were, they said Carlisle, l told them the last time l rank this number they were in Derby. reply was sorry sir we are in Derby
The operation rings as unprofessional and l told them to go away
I advise anyone to do the same. They all sound Asian

I was contacted by these people and when I pointed out that my number was registered with the TPS I was told this it was not a sales call but an advisory call! I have made a written complaint pointing out that they are breaking the Claims Management Regulation rules and that I will be reporting them to the Regulator. I have also reported them to the ICO.

another pest that claims to have collected my number from "the british data company", who ever they are. They are no better that ambulance chasers. give them short shrift. tell them your hearing is so bad you can`t here them, say you will get someone to take the call, then put the phone down on the table leaving the line open and let them run up a nice bill.

I'm so fed up of this company. They rang several times last week, four times yesterday on Easter Monday and again today. I asked for their website address and was told it was thehearingclinic.co. I challenged this because it isn't a proper address, but was assured it was correct. Of course it isn't. I reminded them (again!) that I'm registered with TOPS and asked where they had obtained my details. They said The British Data company. As far as I can see this doesn't exist. Reported them to TPS, for all the good it will do.

Another number for my call blocker. This female asked for my wife by name, she said it was the hearing clinic. I asked her what she was selling. She said she wasn't selling anything. That immediately told me she was lying. Since this number employs people who tell lies, that means they can't be trusted and go into the category of criminals

This place is a total scam. They have their own solicitors working for them and have unprofessional people dressed in suits doing audiology tests which are tampered with to make the company money. It's all an inside job money making scheme. Don't be fooled. They practicaly have children working for this company unprofessional and don't have a clue what there talking about. Swearing and bad language in the background overly noisy. Waste of time waste of money.
