   Told me my existing contract with EON runs out later this month. I am not with EON!
   They said they could reduce my costs. I asked how much am I paying now. They could not answer.
   I asked then how could they know they could reduce my costs. They quoted rates and asked me if they were indeed lower.
   They said they would have to confirm my identity and asked what my last payment amount was. I said I did not remember.
   They asked for a ball-park figure. I said I paid so many bills I could not remeber.
   They said that was ok, and my identity was confirmed.
   They confimed they were going to renew for a 3 years, and asked for my details. I said they had them, it was a renewal.
   They said it was a different department. I said transfer me. They couldn't.
   I asked for the contract expiry date. They said 28/06/17 (ie. in 21 days!)
   I asked for my contract number and/or client number. They couldn't give it to me.
   They did reassure me and said they don't need it - only my details.
   I said I want to check something. They said everything is fine, and could they proceed with the renewal.
   I said it was not fine for me, I need them to transfer. They couldn't, and hung up.
   
   Do not trust them!

   Same thing for me. Very pushy, rude almost. sounds dodgy on the phone anyway if you ask me. Ignore or block the number if you can!

   If you contact Eon, they are more than happy to set up a telephone password with you, which should help you weed out scum like this.

   Claims to be from e-on who is my business utility supplier. Very aggressive & persistently trying to obtain my details even tho i told him several times I already renewed my contract with them 3-4mth ago for a further 2y but he kept pushing till I hung up on him

   Tried to get me to accept terms and conditions on the phone saying he was from EON. Quoting ridiculous prices which we aren't even paying.Couldn't quote my meter number. Said he was in Manchester City behind McDonalds?? Thick Indian Accent. He knew what a BawBag was which I didn't expect.

    Complete scam call. Told me they were from Eon and my contract expires soon (we don't have a contract with Eon). Then asked me who the supplier was and when I asked why they need to know/who they were they said something about UK Utilities and said if I didn't tell him who the supplier was then he would call the police and they would hang me!! Crazy people..
