I've just recieved a call from this number too ( i am with Vodafone) however these calls happen more often these days and also to my landline. They are obviously scammers. Did not answer. Code is Rotherham. I also get scam callers to my landline from India/Pakistan pretending to be my ' Service provider' i would like to do things to these people that i can't write here.

Missed their previous calls because my phone lives permanently on do not disturb mode. Happened to be typing a message when they called this time.
Claimed to be from Vodafone and she was quite pissy with me when I asked what it was regarding because she hadn't gone through her whole pitch yet. I barely use my personal phone, mostly on my work one instead. She started telling me about "cheaper deals" so I said that I was between meetings at the moment and that I'd look it up on the website when I got the chance. She said she'd call back later, I said I'd just check the website so there was no need, she said she'd call back later and I asked her not to. That's when she got properly angry about it, asking why I was being like that.
Told her not to call back and she claims that they won't.
If the call is recorded and it actually is from Vodafone, they won't be happy with the way she conducted her self. Just rude throughout and went all "street" on me when I said I'd prefer to look at deals on the website. -

Missed the call luckily... looking through these comments most people seem to be with Vodafone as am I, it’s strange and sounds to me like Vodafone had a data breach/leak. Maybe they need to be investigating this themselves to protect their customers,,

Had a call off this number it's Vodafone told them I was on a TPS and it's illegal for them to call me told them if I receive another call off them I would proceed with legal action they then told me I would be taken off their systems straight away.

They called today but I missed it. When you look at the vodafone website there is a tool to check who called you and after I typed this number in it is indeed a genuine vodafone number.
I don't like telesales people, even if I am with the company, upselling really annoys me. However, it is NOT a scam, it is NOT a fake number, so if you do want a better deal take the call and chat to them. -

called twice now, 28 Aug and 10 September. my phone identifies it as Rotherham so I just rejected the call. This is very unlikely to be anything other than a marketing call at best, as it is calling to a phone number I have never given out anywhere, it's just a spare phone I use.

I didn't answer, but after reading the comments here and that I'd just logged in and performed an age verification on Vodafone's account site it appears the network have sold customer data to third parties who then cold call the numbers. Should they call again I will be asking the caller what they're wearing and then moaning excitedly a bit, usually gets rid of them pretty quick :)
