The caller was supposedly Avantis. They had already rung twice in my absence without leaving any message. Today, when I picked up the receiver, I heard an automated voice asking to press 1 in order to speak to an “advisor”, after which I hung up to be on the safe side, even though it was only later that I did some research on that number.

I have been called by this number four times. The caller never leaves a message. If one does pick up, an automated voice says it is Avantis and demands to press 1 in order to speak with an operator. It is definitely at least very annoying and should be blocked.
