Claims to be from Talktalk and has my Customer number but unable to quote my security password. VERY persistent and calls me about three or four times a month. A complete PITA and I wish they would die slowly and painfully from some disfiguring disease.

They are so convincing as they knew my TalkTalk account number. Like an idiot I let them log on to my pc they made out that my router was at fault, a new one would be here tomorrow and there was a £250 compensation. They asked where I would like the money putting. At this point I became very suspicious and refused. They then put a password on my pc which made it freeze. They said your computer is now useless, throw it away. But I managed to get back up and running.

Caller with Indian accent claims that there is a problem with your internet router and that you must turn on your computer to fix this. When you refuse they call you names and hang up.
