Called asking to verify my name & address, they had both wrong, so then wanted my name & address. I asked why but this Indian or Pakistani kept waffling & would not say why, so I hung up. Next time I shall use a tuning fork over the ear piece, so it explodes his end!

Asian sounding company keep phoning saying they are doing marketing, then proceed to ask a string of questions about age, marital status, life insurance, phone provider, IT provider, TV package provider. I kept saying I didn't want any more phone calls and where this information was going, he kept ignoring me and asking the same questions saying they would not contact again but wouldn't say that they would not pass the information on to other parties. I'm on Telephone Preference Service but they still seem to have my number and keep ringing
wonder replied 2/21/17, 5:41 PMYes they just phoned me again, I usually hang up on them, but today they were desperate and said if I gave them my surname they would never phone me again, they tried to say they were phoning on behalf of sky, I replied that if they were phoning on behalf of sky they would know my surname, they hung up immediately. These are criminals, they need to be reported to the police, only when lots of us phone the police with the same number or more than 1 number will they do anything about it. The other number they use is 001905570992, this is to stop you getting their first phone number 02036086533 as they phone from the 0019 number afterwards so you can't dial 1471. I am also on the telephone preference service. -

Woman with asian accent called from a company that sounded like "BT Survey" however I may has misheard as her accent was very strong. She asked me if I was interested in new doors, windows or a conservatory and then she moved on to funeral plans! She just wouldn't take no for an answer and even when I told her I subscribed to the Telephone Preference Service, and she shouldn't be calling my number, she still persisted. I hung up.

Called twice 1st asking for my girlfriend Miss jones. she was not in then he asked for mr jones. We are not married I'm not Mr jones I said. Then he hung up the phone. But called back 2 hours later. When my girlfriend told this indian fellow she wasn't interested in what he was selling. As yet 10mins later no call back

The number rings and when answered a computerised voice says "good bye". However, it never rings just once, it rings all the time and I just ignore it now.

The first time they called I had just returned from the cemetary visiting my Dad on his birthday, they wouldn't take no for an answer even though I was still upset so I hung up. They called again this morning waking me up so when they called back an hour later I asked how they had my number as my number is ex-directory, they just hung up and not had another call yet
