    I have had two calls left on my Answering machine saying it is from Officer Lisa Williams in Department 2038074351 at HMRC and that I have a serious Lawsuit against me, and that this is my last chance to respond. It asks me to call back on 0203 807 4351. It is obviously a scam because of the funny English used, and it ends with "Have a Nice Day".

    Same as yours except message omits leading zero saying the number to call is 2038074351. The incoming call to my answer phone came from a withheld or overseas number. Scam or cost trap suspected

    automated message left claiming to be HMRC & if you didn't contact number you would be hearing from them further and that a lawsuit had been filed against you-extremely upsetting and frightening, this should be stopped immediately as has caused such upset for elderley recipient.

    26/09/2017. This recorded message told me that this message was for me from the HMRC and I had to phone another number as I was in serious trouble. So obvious its a scam, - if the message was for me personally how do they know who answered the phone.
