I've marked untrustworthy because their practice is to call repeatedly several times a day to my personal and work numbers. To my mind that makes them a harassing caller and with dubious business practises - I'm amazed Nationwide Building Society would use such a company!!!

they ask receiver that how much debt you have, ask for remaining loan amount or credit card amount then offer half price to clear complete balance means you pay to them and they will complete your load, which is fraud. basically they just take they money out of you by telling they will clear the load or credit and then they would not.

my son was having these nucance calls at differant times of the day , texts and voicemail messages. we found out it is Wescott. he has not answered any of them. last week thay stopped but this week thay have started phoning, texting and voicemailing my phone frequantly during the day. i have not answered any of them . when i listened to the voice maile it asked for ... a combination of my sons first name and my sirname, nither of which my son is known by. are thay allowed to do this ?
AAM replied 4/7/15, 7:38 PMthere's no law against it,they could simply say they made a mistake or its an error on the system if quizzed. but in reality its just their way of catching you out. If they call and ask for such and such (the wrong first or second name) 9/10 you will correct them and that's how they get you. Just say sorry wrong number please stop the calls as i am logging them and its verging on harassment. -

Calling for a debt my sister owed over 10 years ago. Using her maiden name, she's been married 10 years. Explained they have wrong sister but they refused to believe me even when given my sister's correct details. Reported as they refuse to take my details off system even though I can prove debt was never mine.

Parasitic stooges working on behalf of Lloyds Banking Cartel. Constantly making electronic voice calls to a number I've not used for years. Anyhow, all future calls are on divert to No.10 Downing Street's main switchboard. Lets see if Government helps sort this one out!

I've had numerous calls from this number over the last two weeks. Over the two weeks they have asked for TWO different names, neither of which have ever lived at my address. I do NOT owe money and have no credit/loans etc.

This number constantly keeps ringing my house phone and mobile and texting. Claiming to be Wescott about money I owe. I have had to turn my answering machine off as they leave loads of messages..,, calling at 9pm latest! Last time they called I just picked the phone up and said nothing, no one said anything either unroll was ended! Pain in the ass! Blocked on my mobile!

Been ringing my mobile for past few weeks looking for a Spencer Richard Spearman. I’ve had my mobile number since 1995 so don’t know how they’ve got my number. Have now got a phone with blocking facility so I won’t be bothered by them again. They also use the number 01482 484621

Absolutely ridiculous company. Answer get an automated message. They call all day up to 9pm. There are so many phone scams where the message tells you to press one and then you get charged a horrendous amount of money so do they really believe that this is the best way to do business. If the call is that important they can get a human to call. Have blocked them. Don't trust companies who hide behind robots.

Yes I do owe money on a private loan and was paying it off happily each month but then the balance got transferred to these clowns who think they can squeeze more money from me each month ..it's quite simple...i'm paying you all i can manage each month ...you'll have to wait...maybe next time call me in the daytime but not when i;m sorting the kids for bed.... annoyed! -

Wescott have begun calling for the past few days , I had never heard of them , the message says important call & someone's name saying press 1 if it's you or 2 if it's not your name , I just hang up , pests.

Automated system asking to speak to someone who has never lived at this address. I've had the same phone number for about 16 years so I doubt they are using it for the previous owner. It says press 1 if you are (persons name) press 2 if you are not. I'm guessing it's some kind of phishing exercise as its funny that this thread seems to throw lots of random names out to people. Maybe it's just to get you on the line and talking so they know the number is active so then they can pester you even more!

These people started calling my number about 2 weeks ago. They are apparently looking for an Adam Forder or Fordham (can't make out the name as it's garbled). It's always a voice msg stating key in 1 if you're him or 2 if you're not etc. They are calling at least twice each day starting at 09.10am. Have no idea who he is. He's never lived at this address as it's only ever had 2 owners, me and the previous lady. I'm going to arrange a blocking service. TPS doesn't work!

If you happen to answer the phone simply say "i am not giving you any details but i am requesting that you remove the number you have on your system, that you have dialled, as you are in breach of the Protection of Harassment Act 1997 & also the Malicious Communications Act of 1988 (section 1)" Ask if they understand, if they say no, repeat, or just keep repeating the Acts if they fail to listen and keep requesting info. Could also say if looking for a particular person try writing to the address they have on file (dont give any details out) tell them the amount of calls received constitutes the breaches of both acts.
Also try down loading a good call blocker on mobiles. Ive done it and it works a treat :)
