   Have called me 3 times a day several days in a row. Thankfully I have software on my phone that blocks unwanted numbers, but still very annoying. Have repeatedly told EDF that I will never have a smart meter. Opted out of all marketing communications. What a disgrace

   I've had daily calls from this number. I answered once and it appeared to be from EDF asking me to have a smart meter because my meter has reached the end of its life. I do not want one and since then have received daily harassment calls without any message left.

   EDF and their constant attempt and pursuit of installing their smart meters to everyone who doesn't want one and to all of us who have repeatedly refused each and every one of their constant bombardment. If people haven't agreed to date then they don't want one. The electriciuty can be controlled remotely. They will be able to turn people off. Tell them to leave you alone. Just send them your electric meter figures.

   called and said from edf wanting to change my meter but and agent was agitated and pushy something felt off so hung up

   The phone number closely resembles those used by EDF, but it's not listed on their official 'so you know it's us calling' webpage. This discrepancy makes me doubt if the call is genuinely from EDF. Additionally, since I have no interest in a smart meter, I choose not to answer the call regardless.

The recipient dialed back using "withheld 141" to verify the legitimacy, suspecting it might be spam. While it could be EDF and merely an automated inquiry about the smart meter, caution is advised when sharing personal information over the phone to avoid potential scams.
