The Indian accent man mentioned 'accident' so I assumed it is the usual 'have you been involved in an accident in the past 5 years' etc cold call.
I asked him the same question and he hung up. I phoned back but was told 'number not recognised' -
I was called from this number by a man with an Indian/Pakistani accent called 'Mike' who said he was from an accident investigating company. When I asked the name of his Company he said it was GB or JB Law solicitors (couldn't tell because of the heavy accent)I asked address, replied based in London and then he became indignant asking why I was asking so many questions! I explained why and he replied 'Do what you like' and hung up.

My wife gave me a look of surprise today.
We had just finished scanning a forty page service manual for a customer who wanted a printed copy posting.
Is was getting near the cut off time for the post office, and the laser printer had decided that its drum was reaching the end of its life leavening splodges on the pages.
Suddenly the phone rang, I answered it and after about ten seconds said F--- OFF James and slammed the phone down.
What my wife did not hear was the sound of a call centre and a voice saying my name is James we are an accident compensation centre : )

Keep calling (indian origin) keep telling me I am due money from an accident... I've never had an accident... blocked!
Dirty Ronald replied 2017-04-20 20:10:15Dear Sir
I
Have you not taken a moment to consider, your accident was so bad that it was blocked from your memory by your subconscious. This company have clearly been looking out for you for some time now, when they finally step in to help you in your hour of need;you immediately label them as scammers. Perhaps Sir, you are aware of the story good Sumerian? Well my friend, you should step a little back and perhaps realise that you are the fish that wouldn't climb the tree to discover the lake of enlighteningmint. I beg you don't miss on possibly pounds or even, some more pounds. Just to avoid a Sumerian's tree.
Best wishes good man, my hopes and cosmic background radiation go towards you in the hope you can make peace with these benevolent beings of light and crispy goodness. -
Called out of the blue -- same script as ali's call. Claimed to be from London ; but oddly couldn't tell me what time it was there.. Also ; when asked for his company's reg. number at Companies House ; gave the telephone number he called from. Obvious scammer ; despite his claims to the contrary.

Said they were calling about an accident claim and had been informed we had had an accident within the last 2 years. Told him he had called a business number and he hung up. We had a abandoned call from the same number last week. We are registered with TPS.

Asian/Indian chap said he was calling from the accident centre. I ask-Can you tell me the name of your company? He hung up! Their not going to scam many people if they can't get passed that question..... :)

An indian/Pakistani gentleman called 'Peter' called me today, said he worked for GB Law Solicitors or something similar, based at Grand Arcade Bldg somewhere in London, couldn't catch it all as with his accent and the chewing of gum he was hard to understand. Told me he had been given my number by the Road Safety Authority with regards to an accident involving someone in my household in the last 3 years. It was to do with a no fault claim. No accidents here in last 3 years and we have been here longer than that. Did not confirm or deny. Suggested he was phoning from India but insisted he was phoning from London. Eventually after repeated questions from me he put the phone down. I am registered with the TPS and do not believe that a) Road Safety Authority, if it exists, would have my number, b) that they would give it out or c) would not check the TPS first if they did. Not sure what their game is but suspect ultimately they would want my bank details so they could 'pay' me what they have managed to claim for me.
