   Recorded message about "The National Database shows you have not yet had your energy efficiency survey.........all homes need to have a A-rated boiler by 2017." What national database? Press 2 for more information, 9 to stop receiving these calls. I did neither. Number now blocked on my call blocker. This is the same message as I got from 0844 337 3015 two days ago, which I have reported to the information commissioner. Our number is ex directory and regsitered with TPS. Will also report this number to the IC.

   We're called daily by these minks who hang up if you complain that you do not wish to be contacted. It's a sad country we live in that allows such harrassment to continue. Come on regulators, what more do you need to close this outfit down?

   I have received several calls from this company - 6 between the 24th May and 3rd June. Absolutely fed up with it. We are ex directory and registered with TPS. We have had more than 38 unwanted calls (from various numbers) since beginning of May. I have reported it to

   This number (recorded message) has called 14 times in the last week (4 times today) We are on TPS, ex directory, have reported it to 'Which'.

   Didn't ask for these calls, don't want these calls, I don't answer any number that I don't recognise but they keep calling.
   Registering with the TPS is useless, phone companies won't do anything that would cut off this revenue for them, MP's are not interested.
   Haven't a clue how to stop them, considering getting rid of the phone altogether and just using my mobile, at least I can block them with that.

   Boiler Scammers call me 5 days a week. Badly spoken Scottish kids asking about your income. Junky Scottish Kid got very rude when I wouldn't tell him all the answers to his questions. He didn't even explain who he was or who he supposedly worked for. I only answer to waste their time and pretend I'm the rich dumb granny they wish I was, I encourage you to piss them off.

   Recorded message saying that if on benefits we qualify to have an assessment to have a new A rated boiler which the Government needs us to do before before 2017. Reported to Information commisioner.

   They call my elderly aunt often, which causes her difficulty getting for her chair to the phone, to listen to a recorded message about their national database and her being on it. She's in sheltered housing, and all energy is dealt with by the council. She's forgetful and vulnerable. I mind my aunt's affairs and I don't share my aunt's number, so how did they get her number? I wish they'd leave her alone.

    Recorded message says according to National Database I have not had an energy assessment -been calling me 4-5 times a week.
    Tried hanging up, selecting "9" t be removed, and this morning I spoke to a rep - told them I am in rented accommodation (I am not) - we'll see f that works.

    This caller is pestering my elderly mother calling nearly every day, sometimes two or three times a day purporting to be from a government scheme to help replace old boilers.

    Recorded message about boiler replacement - familiar old scam. I pressed the button to talk to a human and it was answered by a male with a Scottish accent. I told them to stop calling this number, to which the reply was "No". We argued back and forth about this for a minute before he hung up. By the way, they use the usual scammer tripe "You called me". No, I picked up the phone in response to you calling me. They are the ones who initiated it. Don't let them push the responsibility onto you.
    
    Four minutes after the initial call I received another call from the same person, this time with number withheld. He threatened to visit my home and cause physical violence against me. I audio recorded the call and the incident has been reported to ICO and the police.

    I have a TRUECALL call blocker, which answers and records the calls for me. It prevents my phone from ringing and the caller usually hangs up because they will not identify themselves.
    Some incoming numbers appear to be UK in origin, but are spoof purchased overseas numbers. If you want a peaceful life, install a call blocker.
    Footnote: Never telephone a number which has an 0844 prefix. These are "rip-off "numbers. You pay twice, i e. to your provider and to the company receiving your call. Many organisations in the UK have switched to free 08 or local cost 03 prefixes.
    Also, never call 0843 and 0871 prefixes. Most have an alternative free or local cost number.
