This number called I didn't answer but googled it and it don't take rocket scientist to know its a scam. t's a waste of time writing all your comments on here. We need to do something to make a stand. I believe if someone posted a petition on change. Org you would get millions of signatures to send to ofcom to actually get them to do something. It would no doubt go viral and make it to bbc news as many in the past has, if you can deal with being in the public eye. We need an accurate tracking system of proxy numbers (hence why you can't call them back) that are being used abroad to trick customers into believing they are in the UK.
If you can obtain the IP address of the caller without giving away access to your pc or your personal details then you should post them here. Tell them you need to add it to the safe list in order to give them remote access. Don't ever give them access to your pc and don't download anything. We can beat the scammers if we work together by posting there info in one place then ethical hackers may come to your aid? Either way I would sign a petition if offered to get ofcom to do more about stopping these calls which have plagued the UK damaging reputable companies getting in touch with genuine customers.

Hi SCAMMERS!
Unsolicited call to my TPS registered number, this mob's a honeytrap to waste their time. I NEVER answer & ALWAYS Google them, then report BADDIES 2 rating websites. Never buy or do survey. Advise everyone to do same to fight this despicable practice. Eventually it will be uneconomic for them to try to tax the dumb and vulnerable like this.

I'm unemployed ex-programmer, trying to do something constructive, this mob is on "Do Not Disturb" mode, so only favourites ring. Bad numbers get saved as ScamYYMMDDn, blocked, reported and added to my wee database of EVIL.They are assigned silent ringtone no vibration.

I got a call from this number telling me I had a problem with my laptop and to follow their instuctions. Told them I don't have a laptop and for some unknown reason they hung up, how rude. Don't trust this number and if you have a problem go to a shop.

My mobile rang a couple of times and then stopped. Didn't want to risk phoning it back so checked it out online. A friend recently had one of these calls, supposedly from mIcrosoft. She followed all their instructions and gave them remote access to her computer, fortunately she shared on Facebook and her friends told her to switch the computer off immediately. She has had to format the computer and change all her passwords and bank cards.

Received a call from this number. Didn't recognise it, but as I've ordered a few bits from mail order, I thought it may have been one of them, so I called it back. Got an automated voice telling me that I dialled an incorrect number.

Dissapointed, I only got an automated PPI call. No nice Indian! Have blocked the number though on my phone. Should prevent any more calls from this number
