My elderly and disabled Mum who is already registered on the telephone preference list, gets between two and four calls a day from this number but they hang up before she can reach the phone or if it does go on to her ansaphone there is no message.
Oxford replied 3/1/17, 6:46 PMI am being called 2 to 4 times a day and on consecutive days but I don't answer an unsolicited number. It is a nuisance and adds to the long list of cold callers on the phones caller display. I always check nuisance numbers on google and never answer them, more people need to do this. -

Cold callers trying to hard sell services and equipment you don't need. Say they're BT partners but all that means is they bought your details from BT who illegally sold them in the first place. Both reported to ombudsman.

Bt partner company parseq. Bt deny all knowledge of them despite when you call the number back it says bt partner parseq and when you go to by partners page from the bt website there they are. Reported it to bt fat lot of good that did me my phone provider blocked that number free of charge and they are reporting it and I reported it too. So if they are bugging you please report as well so we can get enough complaints in to stop these calls for good.

Have rang my number several times, they are now blocked on my phone, rings engaged to them but they keep trying. So much for the BT Privacy charge I pay fir each quarter!

Get a CPR Call blocker and get a phone that has do not disturb. Mine runs 24/7 and only allows certain numbers to get through. Genuine callers can leave a message anyone else gets blocked. Never sign up with TPS as it only does the opposite of what you think it should and makes the problem worse! -

I phoned 08004080066 and when connected I choose ext. 1 and spoke to someone who agreed to take me off their list within 28 days. I tried to ask her if I could use this number to get every unwanted telephone number taken off my line (as we have a BT line) But She seemed to have trouble understanding what I was asking her. Our number is already on the telephone preference list.

The company is a 'BT Partner'. On calling the number back to see if I could discover the company identity, I got a BT recorded message telling me that and saying that, if I didn't want further BT/BT Partner marketing calls, I could call 0800 028 2272 and be removed from their marketing database so I've done that. Obviously, BT don't bother to check with the Telephone Preference Service before releasing customers' numbers for marketing purposes.
